Molori Safari has an experienced team who are passionate about providing the ultimate safari experience to our guests.  All qualified in their specific areas of specialty and dedicated to making your Molori experience an unforgettable one. 

Jonathan Wightman - General Manager

Jonathan developed a passion for the bush from a very young age and so it was a natural career start to guide in the Madiwke Game Reserve.  His career developed into more than just guiding. 

Gemma Linforth - Assistant Manager

Gemma has always loved the outdoors and spent a lot of her childhood visiting National parks in Zimbabwe and South Africa. In 2007 she completed abachelor's degree in education, majoring in Geography.  

Eluisa Di Benedetto - Reservations Manager

Passionate about all things South African, Eluisa's wish is to make all guests fall in love with Molori and keep returning. With over 15 years experience in the travel industry, Eluisa has a great understanding of what makes a safari an unforgettable one. Personalised service and caring about the needs of our guests is paramount at the initial stages of the booking process and Eluisa goes out of her way to capture every desired request to ensure our guests have everything they need for a truly magical Molori experience.

Murray Weakly - Head Chef

Murray grew up with a close family in Queenstown in the Eastern Cape, in South Africa where meal times were not only about the food but the experience of getting together and spending time with those closest and dearest to him.  

John D Ditsele - Head Ranger

John D is a 36-year-old experienced field guide who loves to be in the bush sharing the knowledge that he has accumulated over the last 12 years as a field guide. He has worked over ten years within the boundaries of Madikwe Game Reserve. He is a general practitioner within the field of guiding and a Madikwe specialist.

Jerry Ubisi - Guide

Jerry developed an interest and a passion for wildlife when he was 14 years old. This passion turned into a dream career and Jerry now has more than eight years guiding experience. He has been guiding in the Madikwe Game Reserve for five years and previously spent three years in the Kruger National Park and Sabi Sabi. His fervor for nature comes alive when sharing his knowledge of the bush and wildlife with guests. He is particularly interested in relating stories about the indigenous tree life, identifying birds and is a keen astronomer. 

Obakeng Medupe - Senior Guide

Obakeng  known as ‘Ob’ refers to himself as a true local.  He was born in the Savanna which is called the Madikwe today.  He left the Madikwe to fulfill his studies and then returned and has spent the last nine years exploring the greater reserve as a guide.  He is a FGASA level 2 trails guide and has a passion for African Astrology and observing and continuously learning about animal behaviour.  Passion is what drives Ob in everything he does and he believes he is privileged to have the lifestyle he does, interacting with nature and wildlife on a daily basis and sharing his enthusiam for continued learning about the bush with the guests he interacts with.
